Apex Legends-Inspired Sneakers Announced

Now granted, Chappie wasn’t a smash at the box office, nor was it a hit with critics. However it has developed a bit of a cult following, a following big enough apparently for people to approach the film’s director about a skin for a game he has nothing to do with. Much to the delight of fans of Chappie though, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella seems to be in agreement. At least if his own Twitter is anything to go

Apex Legends  seems to be the word on so many gamers lips right now and not always for the best reasons due to the amounting debate whether it will overtake Fortnite with some saying Apex Legends is better while others saying Fortnite will always be top, but there's one thing I think we can all agree on and that these Apex Legends inspired sneakers are dope.

In his latest venture, Chris has assembled some stunning concept artwork onto two pairs of Jordans. On the one pair, we see the Legend that is Bloodhound - incorporating the yellow, green, red, and black shades from the hound's attire - with just a hint near the bottom of the sneaker of the Apex Legends logo. If you are a fan of the game, there's no doubt that you wouldn't know who this sneaker was trying to interpret straight off the bat.

Now, I'm sure you're wondering how you can get your hands on these and what part of your soul do you have to sell. Presently, they aren't for sale nor have they gone into production, but Tina Sanchez who is a game developer on Apex Legends and producer at Respawn made the comment on Twitter that she wants a pair of these - Chris replied that they should do some official customs for Apex Legends . Tina went on to tag the community manager and project lead at Respawn - so watch this space - you could very well be sliding around in your very own Apex Legends Sneakers.


Apex Legends launched with eight main characters, as well as the unlockable Caustic and Mirage. Fans knew it wouldn't be long before the character choices would expand, and now, players might have their first look at who's coming next. Most of the names are completely new post from Apexgamepulse, but the inclusion of Prophet has piqued the interest of the gaming commun

I don't pretend to know a lot about sneakers, but after seeing this concept art done so amazingly well - I knew people had to witness them, even if you're not a fan of the game. These designs come from the creative mind of Chris Le - a Salt Lake City native who is a film director, VFX artist, and graphic designer. Along with these many talents, Chris works in the game industry creating items for Valve software’s Dota 2 and Counter-Strike through the workshop program.


Apparently, developer Respawn Entertainment is aware of the issue already. A Respawn community manager named Jayfresh_Respawn appeared on the Apex Legends subreddit a few days ago to address the issue , stating that the company is "definitely aware of it" and that they couldn't comment any further on the problem at the time. The fact that Respawn is admitting knowledge of the issue is evidence that it will be addressed sooner rather than later, probably in the next few Apex Legends updat
